We eat here (or get take out) several times a month. The ribs and burgers are top notch, though even the salads are yummy. Great service.

This is probably my go-to place to eat in Waco. Better prices are hard to find, good service, easy to get to and the food is great.

Tonight my husband wanted steak so we went to here. The food was plentiful and tasty. I had the bbq's chicken. Definitely family style and casual. They have an extensive drink menu and the food menu has tons of choices. The server was super nice and made our visit great. I already want to go back for the brisket tacos.

For being a small town steakhouse this place is really good and decently priced. We didn't get to try their steaks but we had a couple of the other southern classics. It was pretty busy but we were sat down right away. They sat us down in the center of the room at a table that was once for a party of 8. It had two tables pushed together and four chairs at each table. They separated the tables by about four inches and sat us down. Two minutes later another party of four sat down next to us. We could hear each other's conversations without even trying. It was similar to how it would be if two different people were on the same table were having two different conversations. So that was annoying but once we got our food we didn't notice. The menu is huge. Variety is nice and appreciated. I ordered the Texas Two-Step with a sourdough jalapeño bun. It was good and flavorful. The bun was definitely my favorite part. The meat was a bit overcooked and dry but still good. It's pretty spicy so be prepared. One of my favorites now for sure. The chicken fried chicken was great. The potatoes tasted good but they tasted almost instant. I say almost because there were pieces of real potato in the mash but I wonder if they mix in some real potatoes in with the instant. It was good though. I also had a bite of the chicken fried steak and I was actually really impressed with that. Also the sweet potato was good and cooked well. Our service was really good and they kept our drinks topped off.

We came here for the first time. And I'm really shocked on how everything was! The front was really misleading on how the interior was but in a good way. I thought I was under dressed and would be an eye sore to people. But I was wrong. Our waitress Ariel was absolutely amazing. She was a genuine person with a good heart. My significant other and I loved her! She will be the reason why we come back. The reason why I'm not giving five stars is because of the mix up with our entrees. Somehow our burgers came with switched sides and in the massive chaos and confusion of figuring out which burger belonged to who, our server, Ariel, came to the rescue. She recognized our problem and quickly had the kitchen whip up the right burger with incredible ease. With that massive problem behind us, we enjoyed every bite taken from there. We will be coming back for sure.
